Everyone is dealing with quarantine differently. Some many be piling up their schedules to keep busy (like me) and some may be bored out of their minds (also me). Regardless, there are many people struggling, especially those who already suffer from anxiety and depression. "The strongest people are not those who show strength in front of us, but fight battles we know nothing about."
Don't we all love food that makes us feel good? Food isn't only nourishing for our bodies, but it is also nourishing to our mental health and brain function. Studies show that the vitamins and minerals of certain foods boost our endorphins, increase energy levels, and decrease depression, among many other things.
Start this week off fresh with positivity and optimism! But, while we are still quarantining it can be difficult to wake up each day and feel motivated to get things done.Look at the little things you do that you may not want to do but you do anyway, you should feel accomplished for that!
